It is officially middle of the year, time definitely flies fast indeed. The start-up scene is never stagnant, rather it is full of exciting opportunities that allows us to share our solutions with other parts of the world. During these two months, we ventured into Thailand, Netherlands and Poland.
Throughout May/June, As part of the Space-F incubator Batch 4, our team attended SITE 2023, which was held in Bangkok-Thailand. At SITE 2023, our team met many local Thai companies, large corporations and agencies. Through them, we were able to learn more about the potential opportunities to be part of the Thai market. Since SITE 2023 was open to the public, we met Thai locals and investors which allowed us to spread awareness about our mission here at ImpacFat.
Our team also took part in the demo day at Tech Planter 2023 Singapore, which we won the Glico award. Tech Planter 2023 was organised by Leave a Nest with its partner companies. They aimed to create an ecosystem that supports new entrepreneurial ideas and solutions.
At the other side of the world, our managing director - Mandy Hon, attended a business mission trip as a Singapore delegate, to the Netherlands which was organised by Enterprise Singapore. Along with attendees such as representatives of multinational commodities, government parties and other players in the Singapore start-up ecosystem. Together, they attended F&A NEXT 2023 at Wageningen, Netherlands.

She also attended the Food Tech Congress 2023 in Warsaw, Poland. Food Tech Congress brought together impactful senior investors, entrepreneurs and government leaders to discuss the pressing challenges in the food supply chain. The event presents an interesting speed dating experience that matches startup executives with leading investors and corporations in a series of efficient 15-minute 1:1 meetings. Through these experiences, we were able to gain more exposure and connections.
During the next half of the year, we are definitely anticipating more events to participate in and looking forward to meeting many of you there!
